I'm so thankful that I found this post. I've been teaching for many years and am dealing with this problem in my morning class. I have another instructor that comes and is very willing to sub for me and I appreciate that, but I wish when she's not subbing she would act like a participant not try and lead the class. She's up in front, over anticipating every move and cue, and goes off on her own to do something entirely different once in awhile. Drives me crazy. Sometimes I'll call out a cue followed by, "or just do whatever you want; that's okay too." Everybody in the class gets it except for her :-)

Gin ,
I'm a 63 yr old female who has enjoyed your step videos for as long as they started. I haven't enjoyed many other instructors because I have you as my gold standard.
Question....can you produce another video for some variety? I've been doing the "Simply Step" DVD (at the highest intensity)....and I have to admit I'm getting a little bored.
BTW, I play intense racquetball about 4- 5x's a week and the step workout is the best cross training I can find.
Thanks

I just learned about your workshop today! I am so bummed that I can't attend this time, but I am hoping you will host another training soon! ((I promised my 11 year old neighbor girl I would go cheer her on at her State gymnastics championship)). My professional goal in 2012 is to take a training that would give me the tools to be a great step/strength instructor, which is EXACTLY what your workshop is!!!! I will definitely keep my eye out for upcoming training opportunities!
